Date of Hike: Thursday, May 15, 2008
Trail Conditions: Dry ground, mud
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments:
Trail fairly dry with a few minor wet spots. Only two blowdowns, both up high. No snow.
Had to detour around part of the trail near the beginning when I saw a small bear sliding down a tree rapidly - wasn't sure if mama bear was around, so I backtracked quickly and found a logging trail to bypass that section.
Bugs are out!
