Home: Fulton, NY: Wright W46 finish
From ward brook lean-too: Trail started out somewhat muddy in spots, say halfway. Scrammble up the rocks was good.Another nice day and again the black flies above 3500'. Again No time on top. Over to donaldson was good, not much mud.Again , no time. Couldn't stop for a minute without them attacking.Over to emmons was muddy and wet in plenty of spots. Took calkins brook down, which was in great shape, dry. Coreys road back to ward brook was dry roads. Great sunshiny day with views for miles...we just didn't get to see much of them.


Gear: gaters, poles and plenty of water: deet seemed to not even help :mad:
