Trail Conditions: Very nice conditions in general. Very muddy on some spots.
Special Equipment Required: Poles, gaiters. Also, long pants and shirt and eye protection. The trail is really tight in some spots.
Comments: A very nice hike. The calkins trail is really nice. The weather was perfect. The views from Donaldson were fantastic. Don't forget to go tho the west lookout near the summit for more outstanding views. Another perfect day in the adirondacks. #31 to 34 for me.
