I know this is short notice, but with all the activity in the Seward Range, it makes sense to take advantage of it. Daxs and myself are leaving the parking area on Corey’s Road and drive back into the summer parking lot with my 4x4 on Friday morning, 12/31. The current plan is to hike the Caulkins Brook up to the old logging campsite and setup our base. Celebrations for the New Year will take place with “climbing juice” and good food to share 
.
On Saturday continue on the herd path for Donaldson, Emmons and Seward returning to the base for the evening. Depending on what time we return to base either hike out, or stay the evening and hike out on Sunday.
Should we find a mischievous pair of snowshoes, we will carry them out and make contact for a safe return.
