Date of Hike:8/17-18/08
Trail Conditions: Trail from Corey's rd to Blueberry & Ward Brook Lean-tos Has several muddy spots, but easily passable. Herd path to Seymour in decent shape with manageable mud, but is quite steep. Some other hikers were complaining it was difficult to follow, but I had no problem finding the cleared path. Herd path to the Seward is very muddy at lower elevations. The herd path between Donaldson & Emmons is very muddy.
Special Equipment Required: Gaiter highly recommended. I used hiking poles, but they seemed more of a hindrance then a help a lot of the time on the steep parts.
Comments: Finally, two consecutive days with no rain!!
