So I went from the Mt. Seward trailhead off Corey's Road. The trail is generally level all the way up to the start of the herd path. That being said, it's still a mud festival in a lot of spots until the last .8 miles until the Ward Brook lean-to, where the trail is wide, and smooth walking.
This was an easy to follow herd path. It's steep, but I found it wasn't that bad. I liked this path a lot. It's fun. I just glanced at the slide from the path, and I didn't give it any thought. Way too wet. The path was muddy too, but you got to expect these things.
Nobody on the trails. Wait, I ran into a couple of guys at the lean-to when I was going back.
First time in this area of the Adirondacks. I got 35/46 now.
