Date of Hike: 2 October 2010
Trail Conditions: Mostly dry despite recent deluge. One overflowing stream halfway to top of Crows Nest but got across dry in two big hops. A couple of easily negotiated blowdowns on White Trail to Crows Nest. Descending westward on the Orange Trail from Wiggins Rock the trail was very vague. I followed faded orange blazes with effort and got down to the Blue Trail and then 50 m or so along the Blue Trail came to a sign and a much clearer path for Wiggins Rock, but saw no blazes on that trail.
Special Equipment Required: No special gear needed.
Comments: A beautiful day! The "restricted" northeast view from Crows Nest is no longer there. Trees have grown up too high but it's a nice little summit anyway. There is a view south from Wiggins Rock but it is limited.
