Sherpa Snowshoes - Out of Business

I called REI in Reading and asked what would become of the old Sherpa rentals. I spoke with a young fellow who wasn't sure but near as he could tell they were still renting them along with the Atlas snowshoes . He did remind me that REI has their 'garage sales' from time to time so perhaps they might show up there in the future.
Perhaps that would be true of other places that used to rent Sherpas.

Arctic Trekker

I have seen the Arctic Trekkers, they look identical to the old Sherpas. I believe the company is making their own parts to match the sherpas.
