Date of Hike:1/26/08
Trail Conditions: What trail? 3-6" of powder on top of icy crust in some places. Steep ascent for 1st mile, Moderate thick brush & blowdown made for slow going.
Special Equipment Required: Traction devices essential. I wore snowshoes all day, Crampons would probably also be fine, especially in the traveled section between N. Dome & Sherrill.
Comments: Challenging solo bushwack. 9 miles in 10 hours. Ended with headlamp.
