Only had a short period of time to hike today. And so, did a very short trek on the Dry River Trail up to the point where the trail enters the Wilderness Area (where it comes close to the bank of the Dry River). There was no evidence of recent trekker-traffic.
Wore snowshoes since the trail was still snow-covered, and was soft and mushy. Even with snowshoes, it was sort of like walking on deep beach sand.
There was ample room on the road shoulder for parking.
One photo from today’s trek is HERE.
