Champney Falls Trail packed by snowshoes, including Falls Loop, over several inches of snow. Cut-off was unbroken with some knee-deep sections as was Middle Sister Trail. Summit had intermittent snow cover and an ice glaze. West Side Trail was unbroken with a consistent foot or so of snow.
We wore snowshoes car-to-car but crampons might have been helpful on the summit cone.
Mostly useless info, given today's storm, but one can extrapolate, perhaps.
Beautiful views, particularly from the Cut-off ledges. Nice to hike with Amy again!
