Left Loj at 6:30am - back to parking lot 6:45 - Trail hardpacked to Avalanche Camps - a few inches of light powdery snow from then on. Hiked by the herd path to Gray at Lake Tear of the Clouds - easy to spot as had been hiked recently. Headed up Skylight - 6-8 inches of light snow on trail. Incredible views. Carried crampons, but only used snowshoes. Trail up Gray was easy to follow, but also had 6-8 inches of fresh snow....high winds would cover trails.
Returned via Lake Colden/Avalanche - beautiful.
Thanks so much to all that break out these trails - we would never be able to hike up there with out you
