The one lane road to Dacy Clearing is open to vehicles but it is slow going due to ruts, potholes and rocky boulders jutting into the road. Exercise extreme caution on this road. The trail to Sleeping Beauty has many wet spots and in some areas the trail is running water. Wear gaiters and grippy hiking boots. Lots of wildflowers in the woods. Black flies are just starting to emerge but not an issue yet. I did the loop via Bumps Pond and near the pond the trail is under water. The view from the summit is wonderful.
