There is a slide on Colden that intrigues me. It is a slide that faces west and whose bottom is near Lake Colden? The hiking trail going up Colden from Lake Colden is south of this slide and faily close to it. If you are on top of Algonquin and looking at Colden, this slide is on the right hand side of Colden. Has anyone had any experience climbing it? To which other slides does it compare in terms of difficulty?

No, it's not the Trap Dike. The dike is left of the main slides on Colden as you view it from Algonquin (or Lake Colden), this is the right most of the main slides on the west face. Never climbed it, though. Looked at it many times and thought that of all the slides going up that side, if any of them are climbable - and skiable - it would be that one. But I've never tested the theory...
