Slide on Saturday

Thinking about hiking Slide on Saturday if anyone's interested. I'll probably go up the main trail and back down the Curtis-Ormsbee Trail for a loop. I've never been on the C-O and I heard the views are good. I just hope it's not cloudy. The summit was totally viewless when I was up there the first time in August.

The views on C-O trail are pretty good, but what was really cool of the C-O trail is that it is very pretty when snow covered. Last winter, my friend Shawn and I were lucky enough to do Slide from Denning in fresh powder with fresh tracks and it was a great hike, very pretty. The C-O monument was under the snow though so don't forget to check that out when you cross that on the PE trail.

If you see a couple of folks on the summit of Friday or BC, wave "hello".
