A crew of 8 guys finished trail maintenace on this beautiful trail that doesn't get much use. At the start of leaving the logging road it passes by two beaver lodges, beautiful cascades, wildflowers, huge boulders, and balsam firs. We did notice some poorly drained sections that could use some work on the trail inside the Wilderness Boundary for next time. We removed all blowdowns and significantly brushed back the balsam firs encroaching the trail. We became a trail maintenance machine as we marched towards the ridge cutting back everthing! There was no snow from the start up to the ridge. Enjoy!
