Owls head is now snow free.

I hiked it today and only saw a handful of snow patches along the ridge on the way to the "new" summit.

Edmands Path was nearly free of snow/ice on Mon 5/28, no traction devices necessary. You can get from Mt Franklin to Mt Pierce on the "high road" (I don't' know the condition of the AT that bypasses the summit of Mt Eisenhower) w/o encountering any snow/ice except for a few scattered patches in the Pierce/Eisenhower col.

The Crawford Path south of Mt Pierce still had lots of icy/snowy sections above the Mizpah Cutoff junction.
