Snow in the High peak

I plan a trip on wednesday of this week and did some one know
how much snow is still on Marcy or Algonquin trail?

I just went outside to Tabletop, We have 2-3 inches of new dry snow.
You will not need your snowshoes bur may be crampons!

Gone, but not forgotten.

Junior (the 2nd) is retired - after finishing his goals. I suspect he is home on his rocking chair, munching on carrots.

As Alain said back in February:

Other friends were waiting..... perfect blue sky, gorgious view in all directions, the higher summits lift them white hat to saluted Pinpin Junior.

Don't cry Junior pass the torch at his young brother Pinpin the 3th, He will be the new guide for the next goal. He same a little bite minus but You can not judge a toad at his first jump!!!!

Oh, and by the way

I see that the ASTC - Adirondack Ski Touring Council - is beginning to provide updates on XC ski conditions, including backcountry conditions at Lake Colden and snow depth at 4000ft. The last update was Nov. 4.
