Snow level this morning is down to about 1000 feet in spots, but more pronounced about 2500 feet. Should be some light accumulation in most places in the Whites.

The photos of white peaks with vivid foliage below will be awesome!

(Crawford Notch was, IMO, peak yesterday)

The upslope snow is just really starting up there, so for pictures, Id say get out tomorrow for some good shots, maybe mid morning. Mount Washington just got about a half inch of snow in the last hour, so expect at least 1-3 today. Someone please post pictures of the snow covered peaks with folliage beneith soon!

On the north slope of Madison, I see white trees down to about 2500 feet in spots but in other spots its a bit higher, the summits of Madison and Adams are still in the clouds.

Looking north from Campton today, definite snow showers!

Edit: Indeed, Kinsman came out of the clouds for a bit. Sun hit it and was definitely pretty frosty looking!

(Crawford Notch was, IMO, peak yesterday)

As were the lower slopes of Franconia Notch. Especially between Lincoln and the notch along I93.

Franconias were frosted on top today, as well as everything over the 4000 ft range in Crawford Notch. Unfortunately, the cloud cover kept most of it hidden. What you could see of the upper part of the Presis was covered in snow. I met some folks coming down the Davis Path who told me it was coming down quite a bit in the heights.
