Kind of early in the season but was definitely snowing at my house in Gorham this afternoon. Looking south towards Madison the first "Howk" of Howker ridge trail is accumulating snow with the tree tops to the east of the 1st "Howk" showing accumulation approximately 500 feet below. Of course if I look to the west the sun is trying to peak out so this is most likely up slope snow from the front that has been blowing in all day hitting the mountains. Its melting when it hits my solar panels and the ground so I don't expect accumulation, but it could make for a potentially black ice event for those driving up this evening.

Looks like it will be some interesting but sunny conditions for Saturday. Time to switch back to nalgenes for hydration
