Snowmobiles coming to Jackrabbit ski trail

DEC Commissioner Grannis has ordered Old Mountain Road (north side of Pitchoff Mt.) open to motorized traffic, including snowmobiles. Not the final word on this controversy by any means, but should be of concern to skiers (Jackrabbit trail) and ice climbers. Link to Albany Times Union story:
