Date of Hike: 12/21/2009
Trail Conditions: Soft snow, not well packed. I snowshoed alone, and on the way out the footing was still soft.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes (or, of course, XC skis
) definitely needed for enjoyable hike.
Comments: Went all the way to the Kanc Brook XC ski trail, which has ski tracks on it. The Greeley Ponds Trail also has an excellent XC track; the few people who bare booted the trail respected the track. Timber Camp Trail unbroken, rather deep and heavy snow so did not go more than a few steps.
