this was reported by Waumbeck this morning in the snowfall thread;

6" at 1200' in Franconia, more at higher elevations, and still snowing. 9 F. Don't look at the warm temps forecast for Sunday and following, however. But higher elevations will probably be OK. Great boost for opening day at Cannon, which reports 11-12" new snow in the last 24 hours, 13-14" in the last 48 hours, a base temp of 8F and summit temp of 2F.

11.20 am--about 8" at 1200' with light snow continuing. 13F.

So I think the answer is Yes !

Sounds like the amounts vary, but with continued upslope thru tonight/tomorrow, I would say that snowshoeing is a good bet especially in the higher elevations north of areas like the Kanc. But maybe its good everywhere....I'm just going to by obs that I've heard.

We just got back from driving around and all locations except for up the base road closer to the Cog is the only amount worth snowshoeing.

The snow is so powder like you'd bottom right out. I wouldn't call that snowshoeing. But up towards Jefferson Notch road is looking better. I'd hike up the jewel for a bit.

Kinsman Ridge from the West had knee deep soft powder, with nothing but big rocks underneath. Too light for snowshoes, we just waded through it, praying we didn't land on a rock wrong.
