Trail conditions: In good shape but well covered with leaves and with running water on most of the slabby areas.
Special Equipment: Other than a pole for balance, none needed today
Comments: VFTT today were forever and glorious. Number of hikers doing just South Moat but a few going on to Middle before returning the same way. Trail is not well marked in spots and we had to retrace our steps to the last yellow marker at times. The leaves made for a tricky descent as roots and small rocks hidden under the leaves caused several slides! A great day out with Cymbidium and with furry friend Finn!
