We took several trails that will not fit in title
Mt Mtn Trail, Red Ridge, Red Ridge Connector, Whitehorse ledge trail.

Date of Hike:5/4

Trail Conditions:minimal snow patches in the woods between middle and south, usually mud down low on Red Ridge

Special Equipment Required: None

Comments: The normal route of Red Ridge going all the way to Diana's bath is typically wet and muddy during spring condtions, andthe water crossing of Lucy Brook since the hurricane makes the last stretch a wet event. As an alternative, we spotted a car at Echo Lake state park and took Red Ridge trail down to the Red Ridge connector. We then hiked up near the top of Whitehorse ledge and to the Whitehorse Ledges trail down. It didnt cut out any distance but gave me a chance to check out some new trail and avoid the final wet few miles of Red Ridge. It worked as planned although as the Whitehorse trail goes lower the number of intersecting paths increase making it a bit difficult to stay on the main route.
