The Baldfaces via Baldface Circle and Bicknell Ridge trails, 6/9/13.
Some muddy sections on the lower areas of both trails, a few older blowdowns easily avoided. Lower slabs on the cliffs are wet in spots but drier than anticipated given the hard rain on Friday. Mid- to upper ledges are dry as is the upper part of the Circle and Bicknell trails. The two water crossings at the end were easily negotiable.
No special equipment needed.
Great day to be out on the slabs, saw about a dozen hikers today.
