Yes, soy contains phytoestrogens (weak estrogen mimics). According to one moderately reliable source, they have not been shown to have damaging effects on men: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soybean#Phytoestrogen

FWIW, I did more than a year's testing with bi-weekly blood tests before and after a soy-exclusion diet and the results on testosterone levels were very marked. Whether that applies to any other individual, I wouldn't even speculate. I would say that a lot of what is out there on the internet about soy seems driven mostly by things like myth and money.
 
I tried Seitan this past week while on vacation. Loved it and made some the day I got back. Tonight I'm making Spanish Rice with it.

Does anyone have any experience with this plant based protein?

Roll the cutlet style in rice crispsies or dry fine polenta and then pan fry in olive oil

Or

Buy the shredded chicken style and sauté in BBQ sauce and serve on buns
