Trail: Starr King Trail
Conditions: Just some mud in a few of the usual spots. Mostly the trail was dry. No trace of any snow or ice. Two step-overs on the side hill traverse going up to Starr King. It was a very mild day with thickening clouds and the sound of wind up high, but being in the trees, it wasn't a factor. I had the trail to myself today. Worth the far drive, if only to get some of that Pizza at the Jefferson Country Store. Looking at the Presies from the Randolph side, I couldn't see any snow. Appalachia lot empty, both in the morning and afternoon.
