A reminder to all that what has been coming down as rain and or is melting down south of the whites is still accumulating as snow up north. I have had distinct accumulations ever day for about the last week. It warms up during the day but it mostly just settles down the snow pack. snowhoes are definitely still required to be a pack accessory.

First time in a few years where igloo construction is possible.

Did a Bonds/Zealand traverse yesterday. Would estimate the snow depths along that ridge to be 4-6'. We nearly tripped over a sign near Guyot that was about 1/2 buried.

And Down South!
I have X-C skiied the last 11 weekends in a row, 10 have been in the Berkshires of WESTERN MA.
Awesome conditions every time, still plenty of snow left at the *higher elevations.

* relatively speaking.

There could be a lot more in some places after the 3/6-7 storm. Models are still variable, but it's going to snow somewhere!
