The trail was well packed and easily followed the whole way up. Trail junction was pretty obvious, with no false paths, although there is one stray path on the way up to street.
The warm weather was melting the surface of the snow and there was some drizzle in the area on Saturday. This could result in an icey crust when the weather cools back down. Beware the spruce traps. walking just a little off the packed trail is a gamble. many gaping holes were visible off trail. All brook and river crossings were firmly frozen and easily crossed.
