On a snowy day saturday, me and my friend climbed Mt Street and Mt Nye. It was kinda cold and there was plenty of snow (about 1 foot on the summits) for this time of the year. The trail was pretty easy to follow (and beautiful with all that snow on the trees!) , I think someone has been there the day before and we just had to follow the footsteps. The only real problem was crossing the river, we met a guy who was going back to the loj since he fell into the river! We got a huge tree trunk from the side of the trail, pulled it to the river and used it as a bridge. It should still be there if anybody's hiking that way! My friend brought snowshoes but didn't use them. Traction a must and poles also very useful!
