Hiked Tabletop on saturday. Not too much snow for a while but pretty much knee deep on the Tabletop herdpath. That's where we put on the snowshoes, we either barebooted or used microspikes for the first part of the trail (no real need for microspikes though since it wasn't icy.) As always in winter, poles were useful. It was beautiful up there! Snow was covering everything making trees look like ice sculptures. The sky for us was an amazing blue while nearby, Marcy and other summits were in clouds. Great day!
