Trail was in fine shape, WMS (White Mountain Sidewalk) all the way. We took care of one 8" overhead blowdown and there were no others. Crossings easy and safe.
We bare booted with no postholing or traction issues.
Up in fall, down in winter. Didn't notice much difference with temps in the teens and a gusty wind. Sosman appeared well-broken toward the ski area summit. A few others on the trail, one starting at 12:47pm. Must have passed Wolfgang without recognizing him (sorry!!).
