Trail well packed throughout. We took upper Sosman segment to the summit. "Stairmaster" section has received heavy snowboard use and will be slick after a melt/freeze cycle. Crossings in good shape. Sosman Trail over to top of ski area appeared broken. No noteworthy blowdowns.
Snowshoes recommended, particularly in the upper reaches that have not had all the snowboard traffic.
We had loftier initial plans, but the line of showers on the radar loop this morning changed them. Took real conviction to begin Tecumseh with the deep blue sky on the drive up and at the trailhead, but, shur 'nuf, we encountered light sleet showers inside an hour of starting the hike and thereafter.
