Trails were hard packed with a dusting of powder up to the top of the upper stairmaster section then a few drifts, up to a foot, in the usual spots on the ridge. Crossings were solid, no blowdowns.
I wore Microspike ST's car-to-car, mainly for efficiency. Drifted areas were light powder and 50' long or less, not worth donning snowshoes for.
On the drive up, the higher peaks were draped with light orographic clouds, so I opted to stay at the shallow end for this first solo hike since my recent, er, protracted outing. By the time I got up high, the wind had lessened and there were no traces of clouds anywhere but no regrets. I saw no one in my two hours on the hill, although a couple of riders had been down the part of the trail parallel with the ski slopes while I was higher up, so be alert in that section.
