Hiked this one yesterday and found decent snowshoeing conditions from start to finish. Some limited views, but lots of clouds still present.
Over half of the people hiking up were barebooting, but that was OK because the trail was so hard-packed that they weren't really postholing. Still enjoyable (and preferable) with the snowshoes. Absolutely no ice anywhere, so microspikes, crampons, etc absolutely not needed.
Devoured a "bear paw" (aka fried dough) from the ski resort afterwards. Delicious!
