York Pond Trail head (also Bunnell Notch) had parking for about 3 cars. When we came out there were 8-10 along the road as well. YPY to the BN fork was brushy (wet in AM). From the fork it was muddy in places and needs brushing. As you get out of the boggy area and ascend, the woods and trail really open up, and except for a new muddy spots no issues. Water crossings are all easy. From YPT - Kilkenny Ridge Trail junction towards Terrace it is a bit brushy with spruce. After the junction with the closed section of YPT the trail drops to a stream. When you ascend the trail forks. Stay right, left is to campsites. The Kilkenny then slabs around Terrace up to a spur trail. These woods were young maples and lots of birches. BEAUTIFUL. Easy morning out. A few views to Cabot/Horn and east toward Weeks.
