Thursday night we went to bed with plans to stay home for the weekend due to the weather forecast. But Fri morning the forecast had improved giving us the hope of getting a hike in on Sun. By 4 PM the forecast had improved enough that we did some quick packing and headed to Twin Mountain.
It rained overnight, but cleared by 9 AM, so we headed to Berlin to hike Terrace Maount - one of the peaks on the Y-alpine list. By the time we finished the sun was shining!
More rain Saturday night, but Sunday morning came and with it more sunshine mixed in between the clouds. We also saw that it had snowed at the higher elevations. So, off we headed to Sucess Pond Road and the Goose Eye trail. Another great hike!
The only down side of the weekend was seeing many dead mosse on the back of trucks and trailers - this was the start of the moose hunting season :<
