Trail Conditions: Except some muddy spots and water on the first half of Bondcliff Trail, all the trails were dry.

Equipment needed: wind jacket and some sunscreen

Comments: With a forecast for clear blue skies we set out to do the Bonds. I like to do the Bonds on "perfect" days! We did have high, thin for the most part, clouds which actually prevented us from getting sunburned. The wind on Bondcliff was blowing about 25-30 mph and was in our faces going up to Mt. Bond. It eased off some as the day progressed.
Once we climbed the prow to come out on Bondcliff...who can say enough about that incredible sight! Spectacular! I never tire of the view from up there and just need to soak it in to savor it for another year.
First folks we met were two ladies on the top of Mt. Bond, on their way to finish their 48 on Bondcliff. Congrats to them. Met some section hikers going north to south as we crossed the Twinway but overall the traffic was light.
Another great day out with Silverfox as we took advantage of this lovely stretch of hiking weather.
