There are numerous stream crossings on the Greeley Pond Trail. They were all easily crossed. The trail was clear of any blowdowns. The muddy sections were easily passed. The Mt. Osceola trail was in good condition but just as steep as always. There was one blowdown at 3000'. It didn't amount to much.
Between the peaks we went up and then down the chimney. It's not as difficult when your in it as it looks from a distance. It reminds me of the old saying: Some things are not attempted because they seem difficult and some things seem difficult because they are not attempted.
The bugs were not bad. They did pick up a bit as the day warmed up, but I never needed bug spray.
The views from the west peak as always were great.
