I recently took my dog, Cheyenne, on a hike of the North Fork Mtn in West Virginia near its 'chimney' summit. It felt extra good because when I adopted her she was not too far away from getting shipped to another kennel and likely put to sleep.
I like this picture in particular because of how I feel it depicts the adventurous spirit of man's best friend.

Even though the sun got her face in this one...the excited look makes an otherwise 'ehhhh' photo a lot nicer!

This whole area has some great scenery. If only I would have done this in the morning, the sun angles would have allowed for much better shadowing of the valleys rather than the somewhat hazy look. Still pretty decent though considering a cool low humidity day. The whole album is here.
