Permanent or seasonal?

It is/was a unique cable stayed ferry.

Is this a permanent or seasonal closing? It certainly makes crossing the Lake more challenging.

The news story announcing closing of the ferry is ambiguous as to whether it is a seasonal or permanent service suspension.

According to the web site, it appears the service suspension is seasonal.

As I recall, there were some possible plans to continue the service through the winter months, due to closing and demolition of the Crown Point bridge. Evidently, this is the plan that has been scrubbed.
