Hiked in on the Greeley Ponds Trail from the Waterville side. Greeley Ponds Trail is basically a super highway; wide and well packed out. We wore snowshoes the entire day but this section could have been bare-booted.
Broke out the entire length of the Timber Camp Trail. Occasionally punched through the ice layer under the top powdery layer but in general traction and footing wasn't an issue.
Goodrich Rock Trail was broken out by bare-booters/trail runners up to the top of the steep section where they stopped. We broke it out from that point the rest of the way to Goodrich Rock. Ladder to the top of the rock was clear. The top of the rock is ice covered by snow. Due to the consequence of slipping (Goodrich Rock is HUGE!) I didn't go up on top. I had microspikes but feel that crampons are a better choice for those electing to walk around on top. YMMV.
