Trail Conditions-
Bring mud boots. Although the frequent wet spots on the trail had logs or sticks or could be bypassed, the meadow area 2/3'rds of the way out was very soft.
Curiously, no black flies or mosquitos...a local said 3 days of cold weather kept them down. Nonetheless, while getting some sun out on the point, a few hearty flies made their presence known.
Other remarks-
If you want to see a Beaver Damn up close and under construction, there is one about 12 inches from the first long footbridge. These amazing critters have attention to detail.
Pay attention to water treatment.
