This is what happens when retailers have too liberal of a return policy. Consumers take advantage of it, and ultimately we all pay (cost of employee restocking, having too much stock on the shelves, etc.). For those of you that are proud that you break something and return it to LLBean or whatever, think about this article. Yes, this is a different slant, but it goes to the unnecessary returns that I have seen too much of in my lifetime.
