Date of Hike: 08-10-2011
Trail Conditions: overall in good shape,
Special Equipment Required: watershoes if you want for the Hudson River Crossing & if heading to Allen or Hanging Spear Falls, as the bridge over the Opalescent is still out. That's a harder crossing.
Comments: - They are repairing the bridge over the Hudson, it's almost done although they still have to connect it to the west bank. Met a group that did Adams who said the firetower was in better shape than the guidebook might lead you to believe. Left my wallet & BB in the car as I was unsure how wet I would get in the Hudson. It's was less than knee deep. Appears I left my stuff on top of the car after the hike.......
