Trail help needed

Washed out

At 4:30 I made a quick run up to the site, and the stream bed where we were going to get our fill is under three feet of water due to the heavy rain we are having.

I think we better cancel - darn it.

I would like to try again next weekend if any of you are game.

I'll keep the shrimp in the freezer, and the brews in the reefer.

phew!

That's the best news I've had all day. Today is my b-day and I just drank 4 or 5 of the best most delicious high alochol beers down at the Dirty Truth in Noho and there is no way I'd be interested in doing trailwork tomorrow!!! So, sorry that the trail won't get made lovely for the thru hikers,but happy for me to not feel guilty about bagging out on something!

Happy birthday to me Mmmm...beer.
