trails: pinebend brook trail, mt. tripyramid trail, kate sleeper trail, rollins trail, diceys mill trail, walden trail, passaconaway cut-off, oliverian brook trail
conditions: pinebend generally dry or damp with some wet rock through the ravine. more of the same over the tripyramids. kate sleeper was mostly dry. some real fine work done opening the trail back up from east sleeper to downes brook trail. thanks for the hard work. rollins a mix of dry and wet trail a trend which continued for the rest of the hike. some substantial mud in the lower section of the cut-off as well as on oliverian brook trails. numerous brook crossings along the route were not a problem today.
equipment: nothing in particular.
comments: a beautiful day for this long loop with comfortable temps and clear skies all day. nice clear views from various points along the way. thanks to the wodc for doing a great job clearing the kate sleeper trail. i had been through last winter, but the damage looked even more impressive without the cover of snow. thanks to cynthia for a good hike.
