I got up at 5am, grabbed my poles, snowshoes, and boots, and out the door I went to meet New Hampshire and BobC at the Livermore Rd trailhead......which is where I was when I realized I had left my pack at home.:eek:

I called Bob to give him the news and drove home pretty bummed out.:(

Anybody else ever done that?

The good news is that I got to take the recycling to the recycling center today instead.

Doh! Jason, I would love to say that I did that, too. I have left Trekking Poles at the parking lot and forgot my water, but never left my pack home.

I'm sure the pleasant driving conditions made the trip worthwhile, though

Best regards,
Marty

Too bad. You woulda seen me (sober -- actually, I only drank beer on the trails today) on the trail today. Next time. Maybe you shoulda brought a few brews in your pack -- you woulda remembered it then.

I actually think this is a conspiracy on Jasons part. I really think he found a six pack of fine beer he forgot in the back of his car, and rather than share it he used the forgotten pack escuse to return home and drink it. :D

Too bad you could not join in Jason. It was a damn fine day to do the Tri's. Had a headlamp finish....but the sledding was devine!

caught again.
sorry to miss you guys...I'm hoping to take advantage of the fact that my wife has a ton of vacation days built up (and can take over kid responsibilities), and head for the hills for a few weekday hikes this month. The Tri's will be tops on the list!
