The more pertinent question may be what havoc the April 15th nor'easter wreaked on this trail. The Franconia-Benton-Easton area was very hard hit with blowdowns in 15' high tangles of horizontally stacked trees. Power in the area was out for 7-10 days. It would be a long time before anyone clears the TB trail.
I hiked it about 10 days ago and it was dry as a bone. Even the section where you walked over the beaver dam was very accessable. No blowdowns on Tunnel Brook but as to Waumbeks post, the Asquam Ridge Trail was a mess.
